The outcome of the municipal corporation elections resulted into the victory of BJP backed, and PC candidate Junaid Azim Mattu. From the day he has taken over the charge as mayor of the Srinagar, he has been trying to solve the problems of the common masses. But before seeing or applauding him, the people of Kashmiri have to surely take note of certain things. The father of city was formerly State Spokesperson of one of the oldest political party Jammu and Kashmir National Conference. He is the same person who was taking jibe at the BJP for their way on certain matters. He is the same Junaid Mattu who once termed them enemy of minorities, and today he has made it amplify clear, that BJP is the reality. This is how people change their colours in Kashmir for mere puppet show. According to him, he resigned from the party, because he had certain differences with the working way of the party, above all boycott from the particular elections was one of the biggest reason behind his resignation. There is nobody who is not aware of the fact about the stand of BJP on special status of J&K. These are the same people who are trying to create castles in the air by promising people of the different states that they’ll scarp the same. This raises series of questions, how people can befool Kashmiris.

The turnout of the democratic process was as low as one would’ve expected, keeping in veiw the situation at ground zero. Same BJP once advocated that, there is no issue like Kashmir. It is very interesting to see how people do this floor changing in just shorter span of time; it is like falling up of object from moon directly to earth

You cannot deny the fact that something new has to be brought on the political spectrum of Kashmir to end that once for all. This is the not change what people are aspiring for. He was actively supported by BJP and it only afterwards he claim the particular title. We know how BJP has messed with the entire state of J&K, ironically when they were leaders of the unified command. This political party initially orthodox in nature will never come to the expectations of the people, as they only need land of Kashmir, not it’s people or else. Erstwhile lawmakers of PDP like Abid Ansari, Imran Razi Insari, and chairman of the PC supported Junaid Mattu to achieve this landmark. This clearly shows how he was in touch with them since many odd months. Sadly, there are same people who are lavishing him for his doing, not keeping in veiw something or trying to evolve understanding of all this.

It is very interesting to see how people do this floor changing in just shorter span of time; it is like falling up of object from moon directly to earth. We can’t change this for sure. But at least we can stop these people from becoming anything in the future, otherwise we will see negative outcomes. The history speaks itself, that such persons will never lead us to nowhere. We can best define father of the city by a very famous political phrase “Aye Ram Gaye Ram”(Political immorality).
