Surprisingly! When the national media and it’s services cross banihal tunnel,it’s colour, attire gets altered eternally. It becomes so fragile, feeble and discoloured that it never discharges what it discharges outside valley or what for discharging it is meant! It’s being hated in the vales because it is hideous and loathed because it delivers biased news information. It’s information section is noxious and reluctant to the ground realities of Kashmir. It’s working at the ground level proved cumbersome and unfruitful to the emotions of Kashmiri people. It’s working does not withstand with emotions, aspirations and genuine demands of Kashmiri people.It worked like a pro Indian agent rather than attributing power and momentum to the ground realities of Kashmir.
Kashmiri journalists taking part as panelists in the debate shows conducted by national TV anchors get disgraced, discouraged over their view points. These debate conductors always try to be correspondents/speakers of the current ruling party. Whether the national media is being suppressed and or it is being forced to do what government likes them to do? Or are the national journalists paid up by the government? Or are the national journalists threatened by hypocrite and ignorant hierarchy of public folks? Or in nutshell is the facility to report truth about Kashmir unavailable to the Indian anchors?
These all questions gain good ground when analysed and worked upon. Last year, famous Indian national TV channel dared to make a little bit of effort to pay heed to political struggle of Kashmir, but it did not last long. The channel was then next day raided and threatened to get collapsed or could even loose it’s membership as a national TV channel. Some TV anchors for revealing truth about Kashmir were even threatened to death. The superiority and hegemony of government does not enable them to come up and withstand with emotions, aspirations and struggle of Kashmir. At second sight, there is another significant thing getting germination that is the attire of Hinduism possessed by these journalists. This hinduism dominates the mindset of these journos and henceforth does not allow them to confer truth about Kashmir.
Coming to the next sight
Rumours and myths are sounding and whizzing in Kashmir about bribes taken by national journalists. For mankind, humanity integrity, these journalists should save themselves from all bribes, illegal gratifications and incentives. There is an illogical, bewildering, alas trend exhibition in India. Whosoever from whatsoever field comes to fore and speaks something in favour of Kashmir and Kashmiri people is supposed to get strangled and notorious. Confining not only to this spectrum exhibits expense The very sudden after, his/her posters are lit up with fire, slogans chanting and declaring his/her as anti national, anti country etc. He/she is forced to beg pardon and if it negates to do so, it is demanded to be exiled.
It’s here national media needs to work and counteract with all the myths and poisonous mindsets of these hypocrites and ignorant. They are not ignorant by nature rather they have been made so by either government, biased news information by national media and or by Hinduism. To overcome and counteract these sorts national media to work jointly and as a unit. If national media started to work singly, there is chance of it getting strangled and vulnerable but if they managed to work integrally and cardinally, they certainly will get succeeded in what we Kashmiri’s are hoping. I am taking my piece around these so called hypocrites and ignorant because eventually it’s all up in their they can tackle very well and induce energy in our genuine and fair struggle.
