Regarding the metering of Autos, the Div Com said government will look into the demands of auto rickshaw owners and ensure that every auto plies according to the meter in near future.

The IG Traffic said locations are being ascertained for setting up of auto stands. He said government will not tolerate encroachments and illegal vendors who act as impediments to smooth flow of traffic.

The Div Com directed SMC to start massive sanitation drive at Parimpora bus stand. He also directed the RE&B to explore the possibility of redesigning the divider on the Bypass road so that buses have easy access to Parimpora bus stand.
