Srinagar: Civilian killings in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district Wednesday evoked massive condemnation.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday expressed grief at the loss of lives at Khudwani, Kulgam Wednesday. She has also paid tributes to the Army jawan who lost his life in the said incident.
The Chief Minister said there is an urgent need to get together to get Jammu & Kashmir out of this vicious cycle of violence and killings.
Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her sympathies with the families of those killed and prayed for their eternal solace.
National Conference on Wednesday expressed grief over the killings of three civilians during clashes in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
On its Twitter handle, the party wrote: “Dr. Farooq Abdullah, @OmarAbdullah express shock and grief over the loss of innocent lives in #Kulgam and express solidarity with the bereaved families while reiterating serious concern over continued and unabated civilian killings in the Valley”.
Kashmir Traders Federation spokesperson Ajaz Shahdhar expressed sympathies and condolences with the bereaved families of these slain youth, saying that “their sacrifices won’t go waste and impressed international community to help and rescue people of Kashmir from ongoing bloodshed.
