Cabinet approves transfer of 93 ha forest land for developmental activities

Jammu: The Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday approved transfer of around 93 hectares of forest land in various parts of the State for undertaking developmental activities in the road, hydro power, transmission, solid waste management, sports and drinking water sectors.
The transfer of forest land has been approved in pursuance to the recommendations of the 103rd and 104th Forest Advisory Committee (FAC) meetings held on 08-01-2018 and 21-012-2018 respectively under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.
