Srinagar: Clashes erupted in Palhallan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday after a brief exchange of fire between militants and government forces in Tantray Mohalla.
Sources said that militants, whose number was not immediately known, managed to escape after exchanging fire with the forces early morning.
They said that searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.
Sources said that some youth were injured in the clashes. However, there was no official confirmation.
