Srinagar: Cluster University Srinagar organized first of its kind one week long “National Faculty Development Program on Internet of things-application” in collaboration with EDC-IIT Roorki Saturday at Taseer Hall Amar Singh College Srinagar.
The workshop was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, Cluster University, Srinagar while Prof. Sheikh Javed Ahmed and Nodal principal, and Programme Director, Prof. (Dr) Yasmeen Ashai were also present on the occasion.
While presenting her welcome address, Prof. Ashai highlighted importance of such events and technology in today’s world.
Vice Chancellor, Cluster University, Srinagar Prof. Javed Ahmed who was Chief Guest on the occasion stressed on overall capacity building of the college and University Faculty.
The organizing Secretary, Prof. (Dr) Syed Mutahhar Auqib, Assistant Professor Computer Science conducted the proceedings of the events.
Mr. Sajeev Kuhad of EDC-IIT Roorki was the Resource person on the occasion.
Prof. M. A. Baba was guest of honour on the occasion whileas faculty of Amar Singh College attended the inaugural event.
Dr. Muheet Ahmed Butt, Scientist DD. Department Computer Services University of Kashmir delivered a lecture on the inaugural session. He was also resource person for the event.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Hamidullah Wani, Assistant Professor Geology.
