Jammu: The Government Thursday announced 50% hike in the remuneration of the Daily Wage Earners including Casual Laborers.
“It is hereby ordered that duly authorized Daily Wage Earners including Casual Laborers in all the Government Departments and those of Municipalities and Local Bodies, presently in receipt of Rs 150 per day, shall be paid wages at the rate of Rs 225 per day with effect from 1st January 2018,” said an order issued by Principal Secretary Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary.
