Dream Of “Ache Din” Shattered In Kashmir

Just before coming to the power during the campaign in last assembly election , Mehbooba Mufti the told the people that if they vote to power her party, she would bring smiles to gloomy faces in Kashmir. Millions of people in Kashmir remind Mehbooba of her promise of bringing ‘Achhe Dun’ to the state but sorry to say that even the most powerful microscopes are unable to locate those good days!
When the state is reeling under severe power crisis , the prices of essential commodities are skyrocketing ! The price of food grains pulses , vegetables, petro-products, medicines etc . Or the transport fares and prices of all such essential commodities have been steeply increasing . In the name of reforms the incumbent coalition government is not asking the people to swallow ‘ bitter medicines ‘ for the time being . Lacks of youths are on the streets in search of jobs , and thousand wait for the regularisation of their services after putting in their best for last several years . Instead of responding to public demands, the state government is busy in emotive sloganeering . It is announcing series of populist schemes, but the non implementation keeps people crying on the streets.
The sharp decline in the ethics and morality of power wielding politicians is really shocking. People finding themselves at the receiving end are shock to see contradiction between the words of power wielding politicians and their instinctive desires . While animals are servile to their instinct but human beings have a command of their conscience over instinctive desires. This contradiction determines the personality of a person depending on whether he or she honours his or her conscience , pays value to the social needs or submits to his personal desires. In any rational society , the proper education, culture and movement for social progress determines the ethics , morality and conscience of the younger generations.

Dark clouds of despair , frustration and reaction are engulfing state!

Will these intents of power wielding politician bring ‘good days’ to the people in Kashmir ? “Sachh” or the truth is that the very thought of “Burey Din” or bad days is chilling ! But the incumbent coalition government wants to make us believe that these are the good days ! So, to cover – up the truth and propagate falsehood ,Government can claim to have kept its words on bringing good days to the people in Jammu & Kashmir sate. More and more people are coming down to the below poverty line day by day. All the wealth of the society day by day is being concentrated in the hands of a few. It is true that dark clouds of despair , frustration and reaction are engulfing state! In this gloomy situation , people would be happy when they could see a hope of peace returning to their homeland as they wait for the day when their emotions and aspirations are respected . Unless and until , the truth is not accepted and the ground reality not addressed, no popular regime can bring good days to the people in Jammu & Kashmir state.
