Chairman Parvez Ahmed handed over the key of vehicle to the Waqf Board’s Sr. Controller Finances Ajaz Ahmad Mir in presence of the bank’s Executive Presidents Vagesh Chander, S S Sehgal, Sr. President Abdul Rasheed, Presidents Nishi Baru, Abdul Rashid Shegan, Zonal Head Manzoor Hussain, Vice Presidents Rakesh Gandotra, Sushil Kumar Gupta, Vinay Sawhney, Arvind Gupta, Cluster Head Shahzad Hussain Teli, Head Business Unit Kashmir University Campus Showkat Makhdoomi and other senior officers and office bearers of Waqf Board amid large gathering of people visiting the shrine.

Earlier, the Imam of Dargah Moulana Kamaluddin Farooqi received the Chairman along with his team at the sanctum sanctorum of Dargah and prayed for the collective good of people of J&K in presence of the Administrator Waqf Board Peer Masood-ul-haq, Sr. Controller Finances Ajaz Ahmad Mir and other office bearers of the shrine.

Thanking the Chairman for this kind gesture, Ajaz Ahmad Mir said that the ambulance will provide a huge relief to the people in the adjacent area of the shrine besides the faithful who visit here in huge numbers on the auspicious occasions especially on the Eid-i-Milad and Meiraj Alam.

“And we do have certain emergencies to take care of during the peak times on these occasions wherein the ambulance comes as a great relief to the administration here at Dragah”, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Parvez Ahmed said, “Under CSR, we have been trying in our humble way to serve the societies we work with and give back to the society particularly across the state. And we shall continue to contribute towards creating the requisite infra-structure for the social and cultural well-being of the people in the state.”

Present on the occasion, the locals and the visitors-to-the-shrine hailed the bank’s noble gesture and praised the bank’s leadership for being socially conscious and sensitive to other needs of the society.
