Dr Farooq, Omar and G A Mir greet people on Eid-ul-Azha

Srinagar: National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah Friday greeted the people of the State and the entire Muslim fraternity on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Praying for peace, stability and prosperity in the State, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah according to the statement issued to KNS said Eid was a special occasion to remember the lesser privileged, destitute and downtrodden and to share our joy with them.
Highlighting the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness that is epitomized by Eid-ul-Azha, NC President Dr Farooq and Omar said it was important to remember families, especially children who had lost their near and dear ones to violence.
“Eid-ul-Azha is a special occasion for all of us to dedicate ourselves to the service of our people and to work earnestly to resolve issues that continue to adversely affect their lives”, the NC leaders said in their message.
Senior NC leaders including NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani, Devender Singh Rana, Abdul Rahim Rather, Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Mubarak Gul, Aga Ruhullah, Sharif-ud-din Shariq, Mir Saifullah, Sakina Ittoo, Shameema Firdous, Dr. Bashir Veeri and party legislators and functionaries have also extended warm greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. G A Mir says Eid-ul-Azha is a message of true sacrifices
Extending hearty greetings to people on the very auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Azha being celebrated on 2nd Sept, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir Friday prayed for complete peace and overall developmental of the State.
In his message of felicitations, Mir described the Eid Ul Azha as an occasion full of blessings from Almighty, inspiring the mankind to give sacrifices and serve the humanity to seek blessings of Almighty Allah.
Commenting on the sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), Mir in a statement issued to KNS said that the sacrifices of Prophet will continue to enlighten the mankind about message of true sacrifices, will lead the mankind at the path of righteousness and honesty.
On this occasion, Mir hoped that the auspicious occasion (Eid Ul Azha) will bring smile on the faces of people especially poor and needy, he also hoped that the occasion will usher in an era of complete peace and development of the State and people as well.
Mir wished happy and prosperous to people. (KNS)
