Baramulla: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of Pattan constituency to take stock of various ongoing developmental activities in the area.
He directed the officials of the executing agencies to gear up their field functionaries so that all the developmental projects are completed on time and their subsequent benefits reach to the intended.
Later, the Minister chaired a meeting which was attended by District Development Commissioner Baramulla, SSP Baramulla, District officers of concerned Departments and Sectoral officers of Sub-division Pattan.
The meeting took threadbare review of developmental scenario of the Pattan Constituency.
During the meeting, Ansari directed the officials of the PWD Department to speed up the macadamization work in the area and ensure the quality of these works is maintained.
The district Heads of the PHE and PDD were directed to ensure that adequate supply of power and water is provided and round the clock service is ensured to the people of the area. The Heads of Social Welfare and FCS&CA Departments were directed that benefits of various Government sponsored schemes under their respective Departments reach to the deserving people so that the sufferings of the poor and vulnerable sections are mitigated.
