Srinagar: Holding all those, including Defense Minister and Army Chief Bepin Rawat who praised Major Gogoi for using Farooq Dar as human shield, directly responsible for the brutal murder of Tanveer Ahmad Wani at Beerwah, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has asked police to show guts and arrest Mjor Gogoi if they have some sense of responsibility.

In a statement issued on Friday Er. Rasheed said “Let Indians feel some shame as their provocations embolden Major Gogoi who after using Farooq Ahmad Dar as human shield today got murdered Mr. Tanveer ,Ahmad Wani at the hands of troopers of his company without none of his fault. Why should not Arun Jatly, Jatinder Singh and everyone else who praised Major Gogoi be held directly responsible for Tanveer’s brutal murder. The army has lost the moral battle to militants as they despite huge provocations have taken utmost care to protect unarmed innocents even during encounters. May one ask the top cops of J&K Police about the fate of FIR lodged against Major Gogoi for using Farooq Dar as human shield. Had some concrete action been taken after lodging of FIR, the same army would never have dared to kill another innocent in the area today.”

Er. Rasheed questioned lodging of FIR against the army and said that how does lodging FIR help if these FIR’s are thrown to the dust bin and neither any arrest are made nor the cases are charge sheeted in the court of law. Er. Rasheed appealed world community to take notice of the huge atrocities Kashmiris are facing and asked Mehbooba Mufti to answer the questions every Kashmiri wants from her. (CNS)
