SESRIC, UN, and IDB to organize capacity building training in Astana

Ankara: The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), in collaboration with United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), will organize a capacity building training on the on the Role of South-South & Triangular Cooperation in Implementing the 2030 Agenda on the sidelines of the “ASTANA ECONOMIC FORUM” to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan on June 12-14.
The purpose of the training program is to provide the participants with a common understanding of the theory and practice to help promote the South-South and Triangular Cooperation in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
It is envisaged that the training will enable the participants to: understand the foundations and the modalities of the South-South & TC approach in the context of the Agenda 2030; familiar with the most recent tools and methods in the area of SS & TC; and able to effectively apply SS & TC in advancing the national development priorities and implementation of the Agenda 2030 in their respective countries.
