Srinagar/May,11: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Minister Ab Gani Kohli and Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaff have in their separate statements greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Baraat.
In her message, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said Shab-e-Baraat is a blessed occasion to seek mercy and forgiveness from Allah and appealed people to pray for granting them compassion, piety and a spirit to work for the poor, downtrodden and desolate.The Chief Minister hoped the holy night of prayers becomes harbinger of peace, prosperity and brotherhood in the State.
In his message of greetings, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh hoped that the auspicious occasion would usher peace, development and harmony in the State.The Deputy Chief Minister further expressed that the people during their nigh long prayers would vow to be compassionate and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity among the people.
Extending his warm greetings, the Minster for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Ab Gani Kohli hoped that the Shab-e-Baraat will prove harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity for the State and its people.
In his message, Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaff Andrabi described the occasion as an opportunity to seek Almighty Allah’s mercy and pray for peace and wellbeing of the entire humanity.
The Minister said during the holy night of prayers, we should vow to be compassionate and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity among the people.
