Kuwait City: Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah held talks with visiting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Bayan Palace on Tuesday, in presence of Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah said the talks handled the historical relations between Kuwait and Turkey, which have always been characterized by mutual understanding and sincere willingness to promote and develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the economy and mega development projects.
He added that the talks also tackled ways to utilizing mutual investment opportunities, as well as the current regional and international developments, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
