Srinagar: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a CRPF Camp in Tahab area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and fired some shots as well before escaping from the spot.
Police sources said militants hurled a grenade on 183 Battalion at Tahab camp that exploded with a bang. Militants also fired towards the Camp and there was a brief exchange of fire between troopers and militants.
A police official said that there was no loss of life or property in the attack. He added that area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched.
