Ishfaq Ahmad Chopan
Coronavirus or Covid-19 what world observes as a deadly infectious disease of the current times has emerged not just as a disease but as a matter of survival and health before the advanced modern world. The pandemic disease which first bursted in 2019 in the Wuhan city of China has now engulfed almost all the world. The disease is believed to be caused by a virus now named as SARS-CoV-2 which spreads among the people by coughing, sneezing and through other physical contact’s. Eventhough the virus is not air borne but the nature of virus is deadly in a sense that it can survive from 4-72 hours on different surfaces. The disease involves fever, cough, and shortness of breath as some common symptoms. Eventhough the death rate of the disease is not so high now being around 4.7 percent. But the rate at which covid-19 is spreading across the globe is indeed alarming. Mentioning that when we analyse the rate of increase in positive cases at the global level we have mathematically an exponential graph for this increase which is infact most rapid increase. It can be observed as the greatest crisis in the modern world which is characterized by the dense population and where people are joined by trade and other international relationship’s. It could badly hit and crash the global economies as the entire world is going through a virtual lockdown by suspending all the businesses and other activities. As all the national and international event’s have been indefinitely suspended and normal life is facing a measure halt so it is surely going to impact and reshape international market, international protocols and international politics. Of course, it is biggest emerging tragedy post second world war which has challenged the human claims of being superpower, well planned or being enough capable to face any emerging situation. Even though humans have largely advanced in all the fields involving medical sciences but it is to be accepted men is still inefficient to face all the natural catastrophes. In fact humans can’t be arrogant before the nature for a couple of gifted temporary capabilities. The situation has in fact set all the world on an unprecedented health emergency. The number of coronavirus positive cases are not changing in days but are reset after hours throughout the world. It is certainly a crisis with an indefinite time frame and all round boundaries as there is no specific treatment to virus at the moment. There is lot going in the name of discovering or providing treatment to this disease as the scientists and doctors across the world are fully devoted to provide treatment to this pandemic disease. But all these claims are yet to the tested. What we know at the moment is that China has been able to control it from a further destruction as there are hardly an reports of new positive cases for them.
When the whole world is battling unitedly against this pandemic disease. It should be utmost duty of every individual to support the respective administrations of the state’s in all the matters which are in the interest of humanity. It is advisable to all to have necessary recommend precautions for the safety of entire humanity.
As per Continuously varying numbers there are nearly 11 lac cases and there are already as many as more than 59 thousand global deaths. The changing and challenging numbers have enlisted the so known strong nations like USA, Italy, Spain, china and Germany at first, second, third, fourth and fifth numbers respectively as far highest number of postive cases are concerned throughout the world. It has been so deadly far the Italy as there are more than 14 thousand deaths already for them which is the highest number of deaths in a single country. It has been as tragedian for Iran as it is currently facing the hard sanctions by the US. In fact Us is itself facing a larger and continuous hike in the of positive cases with having more than 2.7 lac cases currently. The irony and tragedy is that somewhere politics is done over human values and somewhere the disease is used for communalism and polarization which add up to the existing misery. There are nations and parts of world which quite lack in medical facilities and other options. It is so frightening for the underdeveloped nations of world. It is looking dangerous for the whole subcontinent as the nations like Pakistan and India are getting a continuous increase in their numbers. As India is going through a 21 day complete lockdown. There are already nearly 2500 cases in India. Moreover there are already many concerns about the medical facilities here and lot of people are extremely poor and even homeless (or nomadic) in this part of world. Additionally many medical analysts suggest that it could be quite dangerous for India as crores might be victims during upcoming months if the nature of increase remains exponential and some other scenarios’ for India are taken into consideration. The people who work in these hard days’ for the human cause and ensuring treatment are truly worth of appreciation. Some are there to ensure the essential services to the people and some are there for law and order. Medical people are out there for their professional duties even some have lost their lives and many infected by the virus throughout world. There are volunteers and philanthropists for the welfare and wellbeing of humanity. There are lot of donations provided by many to support the people and governments in facing this unprecedented crisis. When the whole world is battling unitedly against this pandemic disease. It should be utmost duty of every individual to support the respective administrations of the states in all the matters which are in the interest of humanity. It is advisable to all to have necessary recommend precautions for the safety of entire humanity.
