Non-local labourer killed, another injured in G’bl snow avalanche

Srinagar: A non-local labourer lost his life while as another got injured after snow avalanche hit under construction power project in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir on Friday.
Officials said two non-local labours s working in the under construction power projects got injured after they came under snow Avalanche at Rayil area of Kangan.
Following the incident, a rescue operation was started in the area and both the labourers were evacuated to nearby hospital where doctors declared one of them dead while as another has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Deceased person has been identified as Surinder Singh son of Kartar Singh of Pathankot punjab, while as injured has been identified as Bobhi Singh son of Angreez Singh both are residents of Pathankot.
An official while confirming the incident said that power projects have suffered partial damage in the incident
