Allah, the almighty has created the beautiful universe with a beautiful Earth which is bestowed with unlimited creations and among them which human beings are considered superior among all creations, that’s why human beings are known as (Ashraf Ul Makhlookat). The Holy Prophet [s] said. Helping the poor, suspends terrible deaths. Where to start and where to stop I am sure my words will fall short to write about the present piece. Almighty Allah has mentioned in his holy book that,Respect and honor all human beings irrespective of their religion, color, race ,sex ,language, status, property, birth, profession and so on (Al Isra 17:70) In this contemporary world there are mainly two classes of people I;e poor and rich ,the one who is financially weak is labeled as poor and the one who is financially strong is labeled as rich. Surely every individual is having a different job or profession to serve their life and family, but unfortunately Society is discriminating them on the basis of their job and living of standard which is totally disgusting and we must know that actually it is the way Allah swt has created a balanced environment and this kind of discrimination creates a kind of depression& psychological pressure/disturbance among all of them. Irony is that poor is treated as he has committed any severe crime and on the other side rich people are considered second to God and they are behaving like Kings for commoners. Here I would like to mention one very common example, It has been observed that poor people are such morally courteous they always offer greetings to rich either they are elder or older that hardly matters for them, they simply respect them and sometimes their circumstances insist them to do so, if sometimes they mistakenly forgot to do the same then rich man reacts in a dreadful way against them actually they are always very keen for seeking respect, honor, domain and so on, while as they themselves even don’t bother to wish to poor, either they are old citizens or whatever. Sometimes some egoists’ elements of society react like kings and consider poor people as their slaves. Poverty is the name of sacrificing the desire. Poor has a life with full of sufferings in every stage of life and sacrificing the desires throughout the whole painful life, while struggling through hard times the most two dangerous stages of life are when one is child and second when they are parent, as a child one can’t understand the worsen situation of his parents and as a parent one can’t bear the problems of their child. In both the situations dreams get shattered and life passes on. The HolyProphet [s] said for everything there is a key, and the key to Paradise is to love the poor and the needy. We must visit poor along with some fruits or sweets verily this will give peace to our mind, soul and theirs as well. When people use to visit some poor house the day is not less than a festival for the children of that very house and they use to shout, scream and start enjoying keeping into consideration that the visitor or guest would have bought some sweets or fruits and so on, So, that they can rejoice as well and could enjoy with children of neighbors. The moment is really heart wrenching.
Born poor is not a crime but to let them die poor is a crime. “Hate the poverty by helpingthe poor
Without a shadow of doubt millions of poor people die because of hunger and malnutrition, their daily food is lagging from nutritious and hygienic foods which affects their important health and leads to various kinds of disease and postural deformities. And couldn’t treat for theirailment sometime, couldn’t afford medicine , tragedy is that sometimes they even can’t think to visit for Private practitioner Doctor who charged them more than there income of daily wage . A poor people always suffers unlimited problems to survive until his last breath and they keep struggling from birth to death. In winters the children there wear torn shoes and clothes and can’t afford to heal the cramps of their cheeks, lips, hands and foots Until next winter arrives. During festivals the poor parents suffers a lot they can’t buy toys and new attires for their innocent angels, they hardly could arrange just a single dress and new dishes for food. On the other side people labeled with rich tag are enjoying their lavishing life and engaged with their families and didn’t bother to help poor of their neighbors. Imam Ali said “One who has extra clothes and he comes to know that there is a needy person in his neighborhood and if he does not give his clothes to the needy, the Almighty Allah will throw him headlong into Hell.” I fail to understand how one could sleep when one is aware about their hardness of their neighbor which is visible. On the day of resurrection we all have to answer for everything like time, wealth, health, knowledge and so on. I thank God that the Angel of death meets everyone once in a lifetime otherwise egoists people of society would used to say he/she expires because of poverty.. Imam Ali [a] said “One who sleeps after having his fill while there is a believer in his neighborhood who is hungry, Allah will say: O My angels! I hold you witness for this servant that I had ordered him but he did not follow it and obeyed other’s order. He relied upon someone other than Me in his deeds. I swear by My honor that I will never forgive him.” Without shadow of doubt only education can play a major role to lead the civilization out of poverty but unfortunately in this present era poor man still can’t fulfill this desire they even can’t send their children to well reputed schools or colleges for technical courses because of hefty fee, huge charges and expenses which results in that they can’t compete with other students in various exams due to poor education system and lack of exposure and eventually this becomes reason for poor students to quit their studies compelling them to search a small and lower level of job which is in fact is tough and hard but their bad circumstances of their family compel them to do so and by this way time ruins their talent and future which is really very painful and heart wrenching in our society the child belonging from a rich family is being treated in a specific way and a child from poor family is treated vice versa poverty makes a man stranger in his own city (Ali a.s), Being an eye witness sometimes poor becomes friendless and support less and Society forgets that nothing is permanent with a passage of time everything changes by the grace of almighty Allah, But disgusting is that poor man’s truth which is considered as invalid on the other side rich man’s concocted story is being appreciated and honored by our people of society, surely there is a hell of differences between duos in their standard of living. But it is the duty of everyone especially parents, elders and responsible people of the society who can give the lessons on daily basis to youngsters to hate poverty by helping poor and stop discrimination. While writing this piece my eyes get watered dozens of times which works as a barrier to my pen until tears rolled down from my eyes and which functioned as unstoppable ink to pen down the things about poverty, to be honest I myself have gone through different stages and hard days of my life . Trust me born poor is not a crime but to let them die poor is a severe crime.
