Ist appellate authority, PIO, APIO appointed for Information deptt under central right to information Act

Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Wednesday appointed first appellate authority, Public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information Officer (APIOs) for the Information & Public relations department under central act of right to information.
An order issued from the General Administration Department (GAD) said that While Ashok Kumar Pandita, Additional Secretary to Government , lnformation Department, Civil Secretariat has been appointed as First Appellate Authority of information & public relations department in pursuance of Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 with immediate effect and Sudhir Bali, Deputy secretary to the Government, Information Department has been appointed as Public Information Officer in pursuance of Section 5(1) of the Right to lnformation Act,2005 . Similarly Manoj Kumar Pandit, Under Secretary to the Government, lnformation Department has been appointed as Assistant Public Information Officer in pursuance of Section 5(2) of Right to lnformation Act, 2005 .
