Chairman TCI Haji Abdul Ahad passes away, demise widely condoled

Srinagar: Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo, chairman of Trumboo Cement Industries passed away on Saturday. The Nimaz-e-Janaza of the deceased attended by a huge gathering was offered at Nishat at 6.00 p.m in the evening . Toppolitical, social and religious leaders have expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Saddened by the death of a renowned business personality, social worker and philanthropist, Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said that deceased was an iconic figure among the business fraternity. In a statement Geelani said by his hard work and dedication he earned a distinguished name and fame in Kashmir. He used to help the needy and destitute, through different means. Recalling his association with late Trumboo, he said that despite a very busy person, he would ensure meeting me when I was at Sopore. Condoling the Trumboo family, Geelani prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and courage to the bereaved family to bear this tragic loss.
Expressing their shock and grief over the demise of Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo the National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah said that the late Tramboo Sahab apart from being successful businessmen was a philanthropist to the core. The duo while praying for peace to the soul of deceased said the darted shall be remembered for his pious and humanitarian values. Several top NC leaders including additional general secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal, Political advisor to vice president Tanvir Sadiq, YNC provincial president Salman Ali Sagar participated in the Nimaz e Jinazah of the deceased. Party General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, chief spokesperson Syed Aga Ruhullah, provincial spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also expressed grief over the demise of Khwaja Abdul Ahad Tramboo. They prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and strength to the grief stricken family.Expressing shock and grief over the demise of Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo the PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti described the deceased as a veteran businessman, philanthropist and a great human being.“May Allah grant Haji Sahab highest place in Jannah and grant his family strength to bear this loss,” she prayed. Similar condolence statement were also issued by Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq, Congress President Gh Ahmad Mir, senior Congress leader and leader of the opposition in the Rajaya Sabha Gh Nabi Azad and another top Congress leaders Saif Ud Din Soz.
In his condolence statement former Finance Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari described the deceased a thorough gentleman who had carved a niche in the business fraternity through his hard work, dedication and commitment. Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the former finance minister prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his family to face this difficult time of grief and bereavement. “May God grant Jannat to the departed soul and bestow courage and endurance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss,” Bukhari said while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family.
In his condolence statement from Delhi Member parliament and senior National Conference leader Justice Hasnain Masoodi said that late Haji Abdul Ahad Trumboo was a visionary businessman, a pious and a philanthropic person whose contribution in the fields of business and public welfare will be remembered for a long time. He expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
