The globalizing world never stops its progressive nature. Every single day, people in different parts of the world come across new leisure activities and concepts that they previously had been aloof of. With the growing technology, people are discovering new things to spend their precious time on. For Muslims, there is a set circle of limitation, in everything. A new phenomenon the world has discovered lately is an application named Tik-Tok which is available on smart phones. Initially, the application was found and launched by the Chinese named as ‘Doing’. Due to its vast popularity, people invested in and created another version of the app, known as Tik-Tok. The app currently is present in more than 175 countries of the world and has almost 500 million active users. Now, everyone knows what Tik-Tok has been made for. It has been served as a ‘fitna’ – to tremble the faith of Muslims and take them away from the circle of Islam. The app, apparently, celebrates ‘fahaashi’, which is against the beliefs of Muslims. Due to the app’s unpredictable nature, the government of Indonesia, banned it completely.
This application wastes the time of the youth, keeping them away from both religion and productivity. The temporary fame being given to the users from this application is also an Illuminati agenda. Women dressing in short clothes, showing different parts of their bodies, and feeling proud in the act, this is against what Islam teaches completely. Muslim girls from my Kashmir valley which is sometimes known as “pir vaar” are creating profiles under fake names and celebrating fahaashi openly, with their families and friends aloof of their activities. Girls can be seen dancing, singing, being physically involved with guys – all with no consequences whatsoever.
As for the guys, they have taken this as an opportunity to socialize with the opposite gender, and together, create content that is against what Islam teaches them, alone or together. Conspiracy theories like these are not uncommon. Previously, fatwas and agendas of fitna have been sent against many different applications, including Facebook itself.Youths mostly teenagers in Kashmir valley are getting much influenced and attracted towards this ‘TikTok’ App as they upload and share their videos on this platform. Although uploading and sharing our videos is not a crime but the manner in which our youngsters are uploading their videos on this ‘TikTok’ platform is not only against our morals but it is also inviting an evil to our society. Our youngsters feel fun in uploading and sharing their ‘TikTok’ videos and people who are watching these videos are sharing them in large number as a result more youngsters are getting attracted towards this ‘TikTok’ platform. Some of the ‘TikTok’ users say they saw their friends making videos and uploading them, they thought its fun to that and they followed the same but when their videos went viral they thought it was a mistake to upload such video and was not a right thing to do as it can ruin their life. This “TikTok” app is not only destroying our young ones but has also brought evil into our society which is against our ethics and morals and due to this ‘TikTok’ addiction, our young ones are developing psychological problems which is alarming.
Teenage is a very sensitive stage of our life, it is a stage where one gets easily influenced and attracted towards wrong way. Hence we need to guide them morally in best possible way to make them aware about good and bad so that they can easily understand and differentiate what is good and what is bad for them. Our teenagers should not waste their precious time, energy and money in making such videos which will not bring any happiness or change in their life but will only destroy them internally. Rather our young ones should focus on their moral and school studies. They should consume their precious time, energy and money in their career building. Our elders have a responsibility to guide our young ones that this is not a right thing to do and there are more side effects in doing such things and it will destroy your mental health. Further they should also teach our young ones how to use Social Media platforms in best manner for learning purposes and not for doing things which will only harm them later on.
