“A team of doctors headed by Dr Anil Mahajan treated Sadhya Arora in a manner which reflects total non professional attitude, careless and casual approach towards a patient who was admitted for treatment in GMC on Oct 17, 2016 and the patient was reported suffering from Dengue fever,” they said.
They told the presser that the inquiry committee thereof formed to look into the matter tabled its report clearly stating that medical professionals did not do their job properly.
Quoting from the report by the inquiry committee they said recommendations of committee has said: “On the basis of that above statements the committee recommends stern disciplinary action against the concerned HOD and the team of doctors who were involved in the medical treatment of the deceased, late Sadhya Arora”. The final report of Joint House Committee was considered by upper house and was sent to Government, chief secretary for further action.
