Srinagar: Peoples Conference (PC) Sajad Gani Lone on Tuesday said that former chief minister and National Conference (NC) vice president Omar Abdullah had agreed on a rotational chief minister with the rightwing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Muslim majority State of Jammu and Kashmir.
“As per the understanding, Omar was to get Chief Ministerail post for three years and BJP for three years. Omar had agreed to BJP’s demand for rotational chief minister,” Sajad was quoted by the local news agency KNS.
Sajad said Omar met BJP President along with two other persons after 2014 polls for working out power sharing pact in the State.
