“National Conference has all along stood by the displaced people during difficult times and it will continue to do so, come what may, in the years to come”, former MLC and Chief Patron of the NC Minority Cell Mr Vijay Bakaya said at a meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this afternoon.

Mr Bakaya referred to the lofty ideals of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah sand said his cherished slogan of ‘Hindu Muslim Sikh Itehad’ will always remain a guiding force for the party. He said this spirit is needed to be strengthened by voting and supporting the forces believing in inclusiveness and secular ethos, for which the State was known across the globe.

Due to tireless efforts of the party leadership, the state had made a significant headway towards peace, progress and development.

In his address, President NC Minority Cell Mr M K Yogi urged the migrant voters to vote and support the party candidates from the Valley, saying this will strengthen the pluralistic ethos of the State.
