Srinagar/March, 23 : A complete shutdown for third consecutive day on Saturday to mourn the killings of militants and civilians during a gunfight hit normal life in Hajin town in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports said that all shops and other business establishments remained shut and passenger traffic was also off the roads in the town.
Two militants and a minor boy were killed during a gunfight on Friday in Mir Mohalla locality of Hajin.
The police have identified the militants as Ali and Hubaib, both belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit.The 12-year-old minor was identified as Atif Mir.
Police, says that Atif was kept as a hostage by the slain militants.
