Srinagar : Unknown persons lobbed a grenade from the backside of Central Jail Srinagar that exploded with a bang. However no loss of life was reported.
Reports said that a grenade was tossed into the Srinagar Central Jail from the back side. Reports added that grenade exploded with a bang, however, nobody was hurt in the blast.
A police official however said that it was a petrol bomb.
Shortly after the incident, searches were conducted, however, no arrests were made.
