Bandipora: Three persons including eparatist leader Abdul Samad Inqalabi were booked under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) by authorities here in North Kashmir’s Badnipora district.
The trio have been accused of indulging in anti-Indian activities. Abdul Samad Inqalabi according to his brother was brought to Police station Sumbal from Srinagar Central Jail and along with other two persons shifted to outside Kashmir jail under Public Safety Act.
“Inqalabi had been sent to Srinagar Central Jail by a local court and he was supposed to appear in the court for hearing on January 18 next week,” the brother of Inqalabi said.
Besides Inqalabi who hails from Ganistan Bandipora, two others booked under PSA are Tawseef Ahmad Lone son of Wali Mohmad Lone a resident of Gundpora and Suhail Ahmad Parrey son of Zahoor Ahmad, a resident of Bangar Mohalla Hajin.
The trio was shifted to Kotbalwal Jail in Jammu.
