We will never beg for talks: Geelani

Srinagar/May,1: Indian leadership despite utilizing military might during last seven decades, couldn’t alter the discourse of Kashmir issue and its continuous denial has not caused any harm to its significance, said Syed Ali Geelani.
Commenting over the submissive approach of PDP for securing favors from Delhi & consequent refusal for dialogue by Jan Sangh leadership, Geelani said that this least effected legitimacies about Kashmir tangle. We will never beg for talks; however, PDP is strained and feel no shame as they are desperate to save their face, said Geelani.
In a statement issued here on Monday Geelani out rightly rejected bilateral talks, saying dialogues either between India & Pakistan or Delhi and Srinagar are futile exercises unless issue is resolved through UN resolutions. India need to shun state sponsored violence and uphold international law, respect and adhere UN resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir, said Geelani. UN resolutions form basics and guarantee the peaceful and amicable solution & represent aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir, said Geelani.
International community stand guarantee for eighteen resolutions, endorsed in UNO & India is a signatory to these resolutions, Geelani said.
Commenting over continuous denial by Delhi, Geelani said their colonial & despotic approach won’t change the historical realities about Kashmir issue nor they can break our resolve or make us to budge. Occupation never lasts long and they may continue forced occupation but it is a temporary phase and must go.
Syed Ali Geelani said that Indian leadership employed all its measures & failed to lure people, as people at no time bargained for their cherished aspiration. Referring to Delhi’s Kashmir policy, Geelani said they failed and it is because of their unrealistic approach, situations in Kashmir are swelling with each passing day. Be it LK Advani’s theory or fanatical and threatening approach of Narinder Modi, it won’t help Delhi, said Geelani. It makes no difference, whether they follow LK Advani’s theory or fanatical views of Narinder Modi, added Geelani.
Syed Ali Geelani ridiculed the statements of Ram Madhav & Amit Shah & said they through their frivolous and furious speeches on one hand subdue their followers & irritate their allies in PDP, however we are not scared of these threat statements. These gimmicks instead infuse a fresh lease of life in our freedom sentiments, said Geelani.
Taking dig at PDP leadership, Geelani said that it is pity that for existence and mere political gains, they are begging for dialogue. It was better for them to leave coalition; however, they won’t as neither they follow ethics nor their conscience.
Geelani said that NC is no more different and are playing deceit and double game, saying that they change their tune and all of sudden become people friendly as soon they lose power while in power corridores surpass all limits & forget all ethics.
Geelani said that we are committed and will pursue our mission of freedom till last solider leaves the state.
Meanwhile, Syed Ali Geelani expressed his shock and grief over the death of a civilian in Khanyar blast. In his condolence message to bereaved family, Geelani said that all these sad events are outcome of egoistic approach of India and it is the basic reason for loss of precious lives in state.
