Mirwaiz, Malik detained while trying to take out protest march to Badami Bagh army cantonment, Geelani House detained

Srinagar/Dec,17: While Syed Ali Shah Geenai the Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman is already house detained, the police Monday morning detained Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman outside his Nigeen residence when tried to take out a protest march to army cantonment Badami Bagh Srinagar and Mohammad Yasin Malik the JKLF Chairman at Budshah Bridge when he took out a protest march to army cantonment Badami Bagh Srinagar from Gawkadal.
Reports said that Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman has been put under house detention as heavy contingents of police and paramilitary CRPF have been deployed outside his residence at Hyderpora. Early Monday morning Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq the Hurriyat of the Conference (M) Chairman defied the House arrest and took out a protest march along with dozens of his supporters but was detained outside his Nigeen residence. The JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik too took out a protest march from Gawkadal Monday morning after remaining hiding for more than twelve hours to evade arrest but was stopped near Budshah Bridge where police used tear gas shells to disperse the marchers including women accompanying Malik in the march to army cantonment Badami Bagh Srinagar . Police took into custody Malik after dispersing marchers accompany g him.
