Geelani’s book “Rooh-e-Deen Ka Shanasa’’ third volume released

Srinagar/April,29: Syed Ali Geelani’s book ‘’Rooh-e-Deen Ka Shanasa’’ third volume, was released on April 29, at Hyderpora. State administration once again deployed police in strength around his residence-cum-office in Hyderpora area of Srinagar where people from different walks of life & literary world were expected to attend the book release function.
Later the book was released amid office bearers and leaders of party only. The book was scheduled to be released on April 23, however nobody was allowed to cross the barricades erected ahead of the residence of the Syed Ali Geelani.
Spokesman said that ’Rooh-e-Deen Ka Shanasa’’ is a great literary contribution of Geelani and penned down during his house detention. There was an increasing demand from public and literary quarters and as such a selected dignitary were invited to the function, however police again sealed the whole area and no one was allowed to enter the premises. Later the book was released in a simple function that was attended by Peer Saif ullah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Meraj u Din, Mohd Yusuf Mujahid, Mohammad Afzal Lone, Naseem Geelani, Ab Hamid Magrey, Zahoor ul Haq Geelani, Ayaz Akbar & other office functionaries.
Spokesman said that book will be available with Milat Publications and on leading book stalls of state.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Saturday said that authorities in Delhi are following fascist policy and India is speedily turning into a Hindu Rashtra. Geelani was speaking in a simple book release function of ‘’Rooh-e-Deen Ka Shanasa’’. They have virtually waged war against its minorities and particularly Muslim community, said Geelani while addressing a selected gathering.
Reiterating for complete poll boycott for upcoming election in south Kashmir, Geelani said that unprecedented poll boycott in Srinagar, Budgam constituency has defeated, unnerved and disenchanted Delhi and its stooges.
Referring to India and its authorities, Syed Ali Geelani said that India is emerging as most intolerant state and their rhetoric about democracy proved hoax. The authorities are backing Hindu terrorists and extreme elements, said Geelani
People’s uprising in 2016 rejuvenated freedom movement in state and since long we were insisting our people to boycott these elections, Geelani added. It is positive direction that we feel and a clear message to Delhi and its henchmen in state, said Geelani. People’s boycott of these elections has infuriated them and recent statements of Delhi illustrates their frustration, said Geelani and they now are issuing threat statements.
Blaming Delhi authorities, Geelani said that their prime target is Islam and they are desperate to carry massacre of Muslim community at large scale. Geelani said that it is our foremost duty to safeguard our Muslim identity and spiritual values.
Referring to teachings of Allama Iqbal, Geelani said that he was a great scholar with missionary sprit and supported for unification of Muslims as one Ummah. His teachings represented the crux of Islam and conveyed a message to resent and resist tyrant forces.
