Srinagar: Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, BJP Spokesperson and Senior Fellow at India Foundation, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Friday and extended his warm greetings to Malik on his appointment as Governor J&K.
Jehangir apprised Governor about certain issues relating to the growth and development of the State and aspirations of youth. He informed Governor that many young voters are facing difficulty in finding their names in the Voter lists and requested urgent updating of these lists so that they could exercise their franchise in the upcoming ULB elections.
Governor assured that the issues raised by him will be taken up the concerned authorities and urged Jehangir to continue his sustained endeavoursfor the promoting welfare of the youth.
