Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik Monday said that innocent blood being spilled by Indian colonist forces in nooks and corners of Kashmir is nothing but state sponsored terrorism intended to crush Kashmiri resistance.
“What was the sin of little Andaleeb and why was she killed ruthlessly?,” JRL asked in a statement issued here on Monday.
JRL said that Innocent blood being spilled by Indian colonist forces in nooks and corners of Kashmir is nothing but state sponsored terrorism intended to crush Kashmiri resistance.
Leaders said that “Indian trigger happy forces first kill innocents and then legitimize these killings by calling the slain as stone throwers. Same was done in case of Raidwani killings where three innocents including a 15 year old girl were butchered under the same pretext. We want to ask these killers that why innocent Andaleeb was killed in cold blood. What was her crime and did not she also deserve life?.”
Leaders said that “Indian trigger happy forces and police are deployed to Kill Kashmiris as they enjoy immunity from prosecution. Indian forces and army soldiers have turned into blood sucking vampires for Kashmiris and this is a consequence of the immunity provided to them by pro-India Kashmiri politicians, assembly, parliament and Panchayat members, their parties who legislate and implement laws like AFSPA to shelter these criminals and their crimes.
JRL leaders said that Kashmir has been turned into a slaughter house where the lives of young and old, men, women and children are target of Indian bullets. “Though this genocide is going on from last many decades but the way Indian soldiers at the behest of their political masters have expedited this killing spree has turned the situation seriously horrible,” said JRL.
They said that “Kashmiris cannot be cowed down by criminal acts of Indian colonist forces and our resistance struggle will continue at every cost.”
Leaders said that on one hand Indian occupational forces are killing innocents including girls in Kashmir and on the other hand international community seems to remain in deep slumber. “We want to ask international community that isn’t the blood of innocent 15 year Andaleeb enough to awaken their conscience. Aren’t Kashmiris are part of humanity and doesn’t they also have human rights which need to be protected?” JRL added.
Meanwhile, on JRL call, leaders and activist staged a peaceful protest against killing spree of innocents including Andaleeb, Shakir Ahmad Khanday and Irshad Ahmad at Raidwani Kulgam on 7th July 2018.
Leaders and activists of JRL along with people from many walks of life including students, traders, employees and well-wishers of martyrs gathered outside JKLF office at Abi-Guzar this afternoon and staged a peaceful protest against the brutal killings of innocents at Raidwani Kulgam.
Holding placards depicting photographs of those martyred and raising slogans against growing Indian terrorism, the participants of this protest marched towards Lal chowk.
Police and forces in large numbers had cordoned the area and sealed the way going towards city center and when protesters tried to cross these barricades, police using excessive force arrested various leaders and activists .While condemning the continued arrest of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and other and house arrest of Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq, JRL leaders said that leaders like Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi are still in police custody which is highly reprehensible.
