Srinagar: Brig. Vishal Aggarwal, Chief Engineer, Border Roads Oganisation, called on Governor N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan Saturday and briefed him about the to-date status of the different road projects being executed by the BRO.
Governor stressed the timely repair and completion of all maintenance works on the Kangan-Gund-Sonamarg-Neelgrath axis. Keeping in view that the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra commences on 28th June 2018 Governor desired Brig. Aggarwal to have that road repaired by 20th June 2018.
While lauding the good work being done by the BRO in developing and maintaining the road network in the difficult and hilly terrain of Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor emphasized the crucial importance of the various construction works being completed strictly within the envisaged time schedules and also maintained satisfactorily.
