SSB announces change in test venues for teacher posts

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (SSB) Friday announced a change in some test venues for candidates appearing in the objective written test on May 27, 2018, for the posts of General Teacher under district cadre Anantnag, Srinagar, Budgam, and Baramulla.
Accordingly, centres located at GEMS Public School Bijbehara, Anantnag and Shahi-Hamdan College of Education Siligam, K.P. Road, Anantnag have been shifted to South Campus, University of Kashmir, High Ground- Fatehgarh, Anantnag.
Similarly, centres earlier located at Islamia College of Science & Commerce, Srinagar and Government MPML Higher Secondary School, Bagh-e-Dillawar Khan, Baba Demb, Srinagar have been shifted to University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar. While the centre at MET BaghatBarzulla, Srinagar has been shifted to Delhi Public School, PanthaChowk, Srinagar.
Whereas, Boys Polytechnic College, Gogjibagh Srinagar centre has been shifted to Government College for Women, M.A Road, Srinagar, centre at NIELIT, Rangreth, Budgam to Bright Horizon Higher Secondary School Humhama Budgam and SSM Engineering College, Parihaspora, Baramulla to SRM Welkin Higher Secondary School Sopore, Baramulla.
Also, centre at Government Higher Secondary School Palhalan, Baramulla has been shifted to Pioneer Institute of Learning, National Highway, Hanjiweera Pattan Baramulla, while the centre at MTM, B.Ed College, Tangmarg, Baramulla shall be read as MTM, B.Ed College, Kwarhama Baramulla.
According to SSB, Admit Cards already downloaded by the candidates would be valid for the new centres. However, the timing of examination is fixed at 12 pm to 2 pm and reporting time at exam centre is 11 am.
