Srinagar: Mohd. Saifullah Farooq, Chairman Human Welfare Association J&K, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan Monday.
Farooq apprised Governor about various socio-economic problems being faced by people due to the recurringly disturbed law and order situations in Kashmir and the deleterious effect on growth and development. He briefed Governor about various programs devised by the Association for alleviating the problems of the people and enhancing peace and normalcy. He sought Governor’s support in the implementation of his proposed approach.
Governor appreciated the Association’s efforts to restore normalcy in Kashmir and observed that Farooq’s initiatives would be provided support.
