Matter regarding wearing of headscarf during police training to be taken up with DGP: Veeri

Jammu: Minister for Revenue, Parliamentary Affairs, Hajj & Auqaf, Abdul Rehman Veeri Saturday informed the House that the matter regarding wearing of headscarf by girls during training in police will be taken up with the Director General of Police.
The Minister said this after the issue was raised by MLA Kargil Asgar Ali Karbalie during Zero Hour in Legislative Assembly.
Meanwhile, several members raised various public interest issues related to their respective areas in the Legislative Assembly during the Zero Hour.
