Srinagar: Government on Tuesday ordered transfers of several senior police officials.
An order issued here by the home department said: “In the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings of Police officers, are hereby ordered with immediate effect.”
It said Aftab Ahmad, SSP CID Hqrs, is transferred and posted as AIG (Personnel) PHQ vice Shri Mubassir Latifi Ameer while as Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, SSP, AIG (Provision/Transport) PHQ, is transferred and posted as SSP CID Hqrs vice Shri Aftab Ahmad.
Similarly Mubassir Latifi Ameer, SSP, AIG (Personnel) PHQ, is transferred and posted as AIG (Provision/Transport) PHQ vice Shri Sheikh J unaid Mehmood, the order added.
