Pulwama : Police on Saturday said that it has seized four dumpers for involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minor minerals during a targeted raid by Police Post Newa in Pulwama district.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the seized vehicles carry registration numbers JK13E-0812, JK13E-3390, JK13C-9616, and JK03G-9190. Police registered a case under FIR No. 191/2026 invoking Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 3 of the PPD Act at Police Station Pulwama, maintaining therein that strict legal action against natural resource exploitation will continue.
