Srinagar : Thousands of devotees gathered at the revered Dargah Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar on Thursday to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) with profound religious fervor. Organized by the Muttahida Ulama Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat J&K, major processions originating from Nagbal, Harwan, and Soibugh converged at the central shrine amid the recitation of Durood-o-Azkar and Naats.
The spiritual gathering featured sermons by prominent religious scholars who highlighted the Prophet’s timeless teachings of peace, brotherhood, and compassion. To accommodate the massive influx of worshippers, the local administration put in place comprehensive arrangements covering healthcare, sanitation, security, and traffic management around the Hazratbal complex.
