Ganderbal, Aug 22: The body of an 18-year-old youth from Srinagar, who was feared drowned in Nallah Sindh in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, was recovered on Saturday after a two-day search operation, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Danish Bilal, son of Bilal Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Hafiz Bagh, Dargah, Srinagar.

According to preliminary reports, Danish had gone to Nallah Sindh near the dumping park at Kijpara on Friday to take a bath. He reportedly went missing after entering the water.
