Handwara Police on Saturday said that it has attached a residential property linked to Anayatullah Khan, whose renovations were funded by proceeds from illicit drug activities.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the said property is associated with FIR No. 85/2026 under the NDPS Act, highlighting the police’s focus on targeting assets acquired through illegal means. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to pursue strict legal action against any property derived from drug-related activities and will continue their efforts to combat the drug menace, appealing people therein to report any suspicious activities, with assurances of confidentiality for all information provided.
