Speaker :Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, today inaugurated a newly installed Laparoscopy Machine and a Digital X-ray Machine at Sub-District Hospital, Charar-i-Sharief, marking a significant step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said that the installation of these advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities will greatly benefit the people of Charar-i-Sharief as well as those from the adjoining areas by ensuring access to better and timely healthcare services closer to their homes.

He emphasized that the health sector remains one of the top priorities of the Government and reiterated its unwavering commitment to providing quality healthcare facilities to the people across Jammu and Kashmir.

He exhorted that the government is making sustained efforts to upgrade healthcare institutions with modern medical equipment and improved infrastructure so that patients receive efficient and affordable treatment.

The Speaker expressed hope that the newly commissioned Laparoscopy Machine will facilitate minimally invasive surgical procedures, while the Digital X-ray Machine will significantly enhance diagnostic capabilities at the hospital, thereby reducing the need for patients to travel to other hospitals for such services.

Abdul Rahim Rather also appreciated the efforts of the Health Department and the hospital administration in augmenting healthcare facilities at the Sub-District Hospital, Charar-i-Sharief. He urged the medical and paramedical staff to ensure optimum utilization and proper maintenance of the newly installed equipment so that the intended benefits reach the people.

Reaffirming the Government’s resolve to strengthen the public healthcare system, the Speaker said that every possible effort is being made to equip healthcare institutions with modern facilities and quality medical services in the larger interest of public welfare.
