Doda: Three members of a family were killed and two others sustained injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Khellani Tunnel in Pakki Hatti area of Doda district on Wednesday.
An official said that the vehicle, bearing (No. JK02DB-6037) skidded off the road near Khellani Tunnel this evening.
He said five occupants were travelling in the vehicle. Three of them died on the spot, while two others sustained injuries. They were rushed to GMC Doda for treatment.
The deceased were identified as Sonakshi (17), Jai Singh (46) and Babu Devi (44), all residents of Nagrota, Jammu. The injured have been identified as Vaishali Devi (22) and Aryan (13).
