A similar initiative took place near Government Higher Secondary School Goshbugh, where local residents actively participated in the destruction of the plants. In addition to eradicating cannabis growth, the police conducted awareness campaigns to inform residents about the dangers of narcotic substances and the significance of community involvement in addressing drug abuse and trafficking. Officials reported that these operations were carried out peacefully and effectively, thanks to the cooperation of the local community. In its statement police reiterated its commitment to eradicate narcotics and appealed people to support ongoing anti-drug initiatives for building a drug-free society.
