Shopian : Police on Saturday said that it has attached properties worth over ₹3.2 crore linked to drug trafficking in Srinagar, Shopian and Kulgam.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that the attached assets include residential houses and land belonging to several accused drug peddlers, adding therein that investigations established the properties were acquired through proceeds of narcotics trade. The action, Police said, was taken under provisions of the NDPS Act after following due legal procedures.
