Sharma, reflecting on his military background, commended the NCC for instilling values of discipline and leadership in young people. He urged cadets to commit to ideals of integrity and social responsibility, encouraging active participation in developmental initiatives. He also addressed the issue of drug abuse among youth, calling for cadets to advocate for healthy lifestyles and fitness, leveraging the leadership skills gained through the NCC.
