Srinagar : Police on Thursday said that it has seized tractors for involvement in illegal mining activities in Awantipora
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that seven tractors found involved in illegal mining activities across different locations have been seized by it . During routine patrols, officers from Police Station Tral identified illegal mining in the Gamraz area, leading to the immediate seizure of four tractors. Additionally, Police Post Reshipora took action against illegal mining in its jurisdiction, resulting in the confiscation of three tractors. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to enforce strict measures against illegal mining and appealed people to assist it by sharing any unlawful activities to the nearest police station.
