Baramulla : Police on Wednesday booked six individuals associated with trade and tourism under Section 36 of the Police Act for creating a public nuisance and disturbing public peace in the Gulmarg tourist resort.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Police said that booked individuals have been identified as Shabir Ahmad S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Tangmarg, Bashir Ahmad S/O Ghulam Mohammad R/O Kawhar, Ghulam Mohammad S/O Mohammad Akbar R/O Kralpora, Danish Subhan S/O Mohammad Subhan R/O Tangmarg, Mohammad Yousuf S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Chandoosa, and Manzoor Ahmad S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Chandoosa. In its statement Police reiterated that any activity disrupting public peace or causing inconvenience to tourists and locals will be strictly dealt with according to law.
